Carbon excels in Most Wanted in terms of the racing, handling model and the canyon duels. Carbon's handling model, especially with the 3 car classes made almost every car feel unique. In Most Wanted, every car had so much downforce that races got boring because you can take almost every corner at full speed.

Customization didn't exist in the Need For Speed series until Underground (Which was 2003. Need for Speed has been around since 1992) and since then every game with it has gotten considerably worse (sans Carbon, that was a good game). I've managed to find a box set on ebay and, before I purchase it, I was wondering if need for speed underground 1, 2 and most wanted can run on windows 10 64-bit From what I can tell, it's really hit and miss, with some times working stock, sometimes working with compatiblity/some kinda mod and sometimes completely not working.
The original Most Wanted and Underground games remain cult favorites to this day. It's hard to choose between them, but that just goes to show how good Need for Speed was during its golden era
