KTM is guilty of having a "narrow triangle" and its due to the steep steering angle and race pedigree (690 aside). So, manufacturers cannot get this right. They make a bike with correct geometry for taller people and the shorties moan.
KTM 500 EXC-F – plenty of power, best for off-road and experienced riders ; Honda XR650L – simple, reliable, stable/heavier, and good all-around; KTM 690 Enduro R – Great engine, a little heavier and more stable than the 650 dual-sport bikes; Husqvarna 701 Enduro – Same as KTM 690 but “white” KTM's 790 stock height and weight distribution is more comfortable for shorter folks. You can get lower links and lower seat. I don't know if the 890 shares the same spec (probably). KLR's are tall, vStroms are tall, Tigers are tall. For comparison, KTM’s 690 SMC-R – surely the new Hypermotard’s closest rival – has a bigger 693cc engine and peaks at 73.8hp and a much lower 8,000rpm. The Ducati’s torque is 46.3lb-ft at 8,000rpm, reflecting the downside of such a high-revving engine. For comparison, the KTM makes 52.4lb-ft at 6,750rpm thanks to its larger capacity.More detailed instructions below on reinstalling or repairing rear turn signals on KTM 690 Enduro R turn signals. Remove the screw in the turn signal assembly (size 1 Phillips screwdriver). Remove clear lens. Gently remove rear reflector/light as wiring is attached. Push black turn signal assembly onto mount.
