Themore the display is on the more the battery drains. Plus, some complications update when the display is on so that right there would drain the battery more. I have an S3 and can tell you, when I had the raise to wake on my battery drained much faster than it does with tap to wake. I can only imagine how an AOD would do.
Isthere a short cut or something to to turn on/off the always on display, rather than going all the way in settings? it’s probably not what you are lookin for, but maybe it helps a few people. I use my watch in low power mode most of the time, that disables AOD. When I turn low power mode off, AOD is enabled again.
